My favorite book: Divergent by Veronica Roth

Hi girls, today I opened a new category: books. You can even say in the comments what books you are reading right now, or whatever you preferred. I’ll talk about the Divergent Trilogy Veronica Roth.

Short summary:

Tris lives in a post-apocalyptic world where society is divided into five clans (Bold, Scholars, Caring, Kind, Fraternal). At 16, she must choose her membership for the rest of his life. Rare case, her aptitude test is not conclusive: she is Divergente. Divergents are rare individuals, not belonging to a clan and are hounded by the government. Concealing her secret, Tris integrates the brutal world of Daring whose training is based on the mastery of our innermost fears.

Why have I enjoyed this trilogy?

This trilogy moved me deeply and really embraced the world and the history of Tris. while i was reading the books, i was so in that i didn’t wanted to stop reading, because it was so exciting. I was feeling all tris’s feelings, the author expressed so well. I do not know  if it’s the case for you, but when I read I create scenarios in my head with all the details. You can really see, comparing Tris at the beginning and the end of the trilogy, her changes, she seeks who she is, and becomes a strong girl and she follows her own philosophy. Tris is not only bold, it’s also smart, helpful, sincere and kind. The love story beetween Tris and Four  has it place and really does not stifle the action and the dystopia.

Rehabilitation film:

Rehabilitation film is successful, but what bothers me is that we do not see enough her friends (Christina, Will …).  Shailene Woodley, who plays Tris’s role, she transmit us very well the feelings of the main character. I cannot wait to watch the 2nd movie, to see if it is as good as the first one.

I like the dystopia as Divergente, Hunger Games … Right now I’m reading volume 3 of Reached (Matched, Volume 1 and crossed, Volume 2), which is also a dystopia.
